Blessed Zoerard (Andrew) and Benedict, Hermits

At Nitra on the river Váh near the Carpathian mountains, Saints Zoerard, also called Andrew, and Benedict, hermits, who came from Poland into Hungary at the request of Saint Stephen the king, and led a most austere life in the hermitage of Mount Zobor.

Nitrávae ad Vagum flumen apud montes Carpátes, sanctórum Zoerárdi seu Andréz et Benedicti, eremitárum, qui e Polónia, rogánte sancto Stéphano rege, in Hungáriam venérunt et 1n erémo montis Zobor vitam egérunt aspérrimam.
