The Martyrology may be proclaimed in choir at the office of Prime (or as the chapter reading at Lauds) and during meals in the refectory. The chant settings below are reproduced from the 2004 editio typica altera and give the tone for the daily elogium, together with proper chants for the Nativity of the Lord and other principal feasts.
