Memorial of Saint Thomas Aquinas, priest of the Order of Preachers and Doctor of the Church, who, endowed with the highest gifts of intellect, handed on his surpassing wisdom to others through his prayers and writings. Summoned by Blessed Pope Gregory X himself to the Second Ecumenical Council of Lyons, he died while making the journey, in the monastery of Fossanova in Latium, on the seventh day of March; and many years later, on this day, his body was translated to Toulouse.

emória sancti Thome de Aquíno, presbyteri ex Ordine Pradicatórum et.Ecclesiae doctóris, qui, summis intelléctus donis préditus, oratiónibus et scriptis eximiam sapiéntiam suam áliis trádidit. Ad Concilium CEcuménicum Lugdunénse Secündum ab ipso beáto Gregório papa Décimo vocátus iter fáciens, in monastério Fossznóve in Látio die séptima mártu óbnt et multis post annis hac die corpus eius Tolósam translátum est.
