At Utica in Africa, the holy martyrs known as the Massa Candida (the “White Mass”), who, more numerous than the fish drawn up in the net by the Apostles, remained faithful to their bishop Quadratus and, together confessing Christ the Son of God, met death with great courage.

Utica in Africa, sanctórum mártyrum Masse Cándidz, qui, crebrióres píscibus ab Apóstolis in rete tractis, fidéles epíscopo suo Quadráto, simul Christum Dei Fílium confiténtes, magnánimi mortem occubuérunt.
