At Seoul in Korea, the passion of Saints Paul Chong Ha-sang and Augustine Yu Chin-gil, martyrs. The one guided the first Christian community for twenty years during the time of persecution; the other wrote letters to Pope Gregory XVI, asking that priests be sent to Korea. Both being catechists, they were together beheaded for the faith after enduring cruel torments.
