In a forest near the city of Nowogródek in Poland, Blessed Mary Stella of the Blessed Sacrament (Adelaide) Mardosewicz and ten companions of the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, virgins and martyrs, who, in the grievous times of war, were shot dead by the enemies of the faith and so passed to heavenly glory.
