At Seoul in Korea, Saints Lawrence Han I-hyŏng, catechist, and six companions, martyrs, who in various prisons were strangled with a noose and underwent martyrdom for Christ. Their memory is celebrated today together with the other martyrs of these regions.
Their names are: Saint Peter Nam Kyŏng-mun, catechist; Theresa Kim Im-i, virgin; Susanna U Sur-im and Agatha Yi Kan-nan, widows; Catherine Chŏng Ch’ŏl-yŏm and Joseph Im Ch’i-baek, who was baptized in prison.
