Saint John of Ravenna

At Ravenna in Flaminia, Saint John, bishop, who, while all Italy was being shaken by the Lombard war, provided most excellently for the needs of the Church, as Saint Gregory the Great, the pope, bears witness, who sent to him the book of the Pastoral Rule.
