At Sachsenhausen in Germany, Blessed Innocent Guz, priest of the Order of Friars Minor Conventual and martyr, who, a Pole by birth, after his homeland had been invaded by force of arms by the followers of opinions hostile to humanity and to religion, was put to death by the guards of the detention camp for the faith of Christ.
