Near Munich in Bavaria, Germany, within the detention camp of Dachau, Blessed Hilary Januszewski, priest of the Order of the Brothers of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Mount Carmel and martyr, who, in time of war, was deported from Poland to this foreign prison for the sake of Christ, and, stricken with typhus while attending the sick, died renowned for faith and charity.
