At Kraków in Poland, Saint Hedwig, who, born a royal princess in Hungary, received the kingdom of Poland and married Jagiełło, grand duke of Lithuania, who was named Ladislaus at his baptism, and together with him sowed the Catholic faith in Lithuania.
