At Caesarea in Mauretania, Saint Fabius, martyr, who, when in the council of the whole province he refused to carry the governor’s standards, was first thrown into prison and, when he persevered in the confession of Christ, was condemned to a capital sentence by the judge.

Caesaréz in Mauretánia, sancti Fábii, mártyris, qui, cum in concílio totíus províncie ferre vexilla preesidália recusáret, primum in cárcerem trusus est et, cum in confessióne Christi perduráret, a iádice capitáli senténtia condemnátus est.
