At Tyre in Phoenicia, Saint Dorotheus, bishop, who, while still a priest, suffered much under the emperor Diocletian; surviving until the days of Julian, he is said, under that emperor and at the age of one hundred and seven, to have crowned his venerable old age with martyrdom in Thrace.
