Saint Dominic Nguyen and Companions, Martyrs of Vietnam

In the town of Lang Coc in Tonkin, the holy martyrs Dominic Nguyen, a physician, and Dominic Nhi, Dominic Mao, Vincent and Andrew Tuong, farmers, who were arrested together for the Christian faith and, after being tormented with many tortures in prison, were at last beheaded under the emperor Tu Duc.

In urbe Láng Cóc in Tunquíno, sanctórum mártyrum Domínici Nguyén, médici, Domínici Nhi, Dominici Mao, Vincéntii et Andréze Tuóng, agricolárum, qui ínsimul ob christiánam fidem apprehénsi et in cárcere multis torméntis excruciáti, tandem decolláti sunt, sub imperatóre Tu Düc.
