In the city of Nam Định in Tonkin, Saints Dominic Henares, bishop of the Order of Preachers, and Francis Đỗ Minh Chiểu, martyrs. The former spread the Christian faith for forty-nine years, while the latter, a catechist, worked zealously alongside him; both were beheaded together for Christ under the emperor Minh Mạng.

In urbe Nam Dinh in ‘Tunquíno, sanctórum Domínici Henares, epíscopi ex Ordine Praedicatórum, et Francísci Dó Minh Chiéu, mártyrum, quorum prior quadraginta novem annos fidem christiánam propagávit, alter vero, catechísta, cum eo sédulo operátus est; utér. que sub imperatóre Minh Mang pro Christo simul cápite obtruncáti sunt.
