Blessed Claude Dumonet

In the roadstead of Rochefort off the coast of France, aboard a squalid ship riding at anchor, Blessed Claude Dumonet, priest and martyr, who, a master of arts, in the storms of persecution was thrust onto a foul prison hulk and, his feet bound with chains, wasted away by fever, died for Christ.
