In the village of Qanshengzhuang near the town of Liushuitao in the province of Hebei in China, Saint Barbara Cui Lianzhi, martyr, who, after her son had already been killed, sought safety by flight in the night, but was seized by the enemies of the Christians and, after being most cruelly tortured, met her death.
