Memorial of Saint Apollinaris, bishop, who, spreading abroad among the nations the unsearchable riches of Christ, as a good shepherd went before his flock and is said to have adorned the Church of Classe near Ravenna in Flaminia with the renowned honor of martyrdom. On the twenty-third day of July he passed to the eternal banquet.
