At Belley in Savoy, Saint Anthelm, bishop, who as a monk of the Grande Chartreuse restored the charterhouse that had been laid waste by a great fall of snow; having been made prior, he convened the general chapter, and, raised to the episcopal see, he labored with untiring zeal and intrepid firmness in correcting the morals of the clergy and the nobility.
