In the town of Cunhaú near Natal in Brazil, Blessed André de Soveral, priest of the Society of Jesus, and Domingos Carvalho, martyrs, who during the very celebration of Mass, together with a throng of the faithful, were treacherously locked in the church by soldiers and savagely put to death.
