At Sergiopolis in Persia, the passion of Saint Anastasius, monk and martyr, who, after the many torments he had endured at Caesarea in Palestine, was afflicted with many punishments by Chosroes, king of the Persians, and, after seventy companions, was strangled near a river and beheaded.

Sergiópoli in Pérside, pássio sancti Ánastásii, mónachi et mártyris, qui post plüárima torménta, quae in Caesaréa Palastínze perpéssus erat, a Chósroe Persárum rege multis poenis afféctus, post septuagínta sócios, prope flumen suffocátus et cápite truncátus est.
