Saint Anastasius and Companions, Martyrs of Córdoba

At Córdoba in the region of Andalusia in Spain, the holy martyrs Anastasius, priest, Felix, monk, and Digna, virgin, who fell together on the same day. Anastasius, having professed the Christian faith before the Moorish magistrates, was at once slain by the sword; with him also Felix, a Getulian by birth, who had practiced the Catholic faith and the monastic life throughout Asturias; and Digna, a young girl, who, because she had vehemently rebuked the judge at their slaying, was beheaded on the spot.

Córdubz in Vandalícia Hispániz regióne, sanctórum mártyrum Anastásii, presbyteri, Felícis, mónachi, et Dignze, virginis, qui eódem die páriter cecidérunt. Anastásius, ante cónsules Mauros christiánam fidem proféssus, gládio conféstim occísus est; cum eo et Felix, gétulus natióne, qui per Astürias fidem cathólicam et monásticam conversatiónem düxerat; Digna vero adulescéntula, qua 1n eórum caede iüdicem veheménter reprehénderat, íllico decolláta est.
