At Córdoba in the region of Andalusia in Spain, Saint Abundius, priest, who in the persecution of the Moors, when questioned by the judge, set forth the reason of his faith with an intrepid response; and, swift indignation being aroused, he was put to death and exposed to be devoured by dogs and beasts.
