At Samaria, or Sebaste, in Palestine, the commemoration of Saint Elisha, who, a disciple of Elijah, was a prophet in Israel from the time of King Joram until the days of Joash; although he left no written oracles, yet, by working miracles for strangers, he announced that salvation would come to all people.
