At Carthage, on the road called that of the Scillitans, in the basilica of Faustus, the burial of Saint Felix, bishop of Thibiuca and martyr, who, ordered by the curator Magnilianus to hand over the books of the Scriptures to the fire, replied that it was better for him to be burned by fire than the divine Scriptures; for this reason he was put to death by the sword by the proconsul Anulinus.
